Mission

We aim to assist parents in imparting the faith to their children by holding classes to teach the Catholic faith and doctrine. We as a religious education program of Mary Mother of Martyrs Parish are called to nurture a living, conscious and active faith in the children and youth we teach. Our mission is to share the love of Jesus to those we teach & make them have a firm commitment to follow Jesus and get to know Him in a deeper level.

Class Time:

Religious Education class session is offered at the following time:

Tuesday nights from 6:00pm – 7:30pm

Parent Formation every 2nd Tuesday of the Month from 6:00 – 7:30pm (required)

Tuition:

1 child - $150

2 children - $250

3 children - $300

Registration:

Need to come to the office to register. Full payment is due upon registration.

Ø Birth Certificate

Ø Baptismal Certificate

Ø First Communion Certificate (if registering for Confirmation program)

Without these certificates registration will NOT be accepted.

FIRST COMMUNION: 

A 2-year Program for baptized children ages 6 to 10

Program B:

 (Intensive One Year Program for First Communion): A 1-year program for the Sacrament of First Communion with Intensive Classes (6 classes that occur on Saturday for 2hrs).

This program is for children 11 years of age that have NOT received First Holy Communion and that should be in the Confirmation program already. We follow the Archdiocese of Chicago guidelines for this program.

We need baptismal certificate & birth certificate

CONFIRMATION: 

A 2-year Program for young people in Grade 7 or ages 12 to 17. 

We need baptismal certificate, birth certificate, first communion certificate

PARENT SESSIONS EVERY 2nd TUESDAY OF THE MONTH  6:00PM-7:30PM
